to be accepted into the site as a member, you must first read everything in this board to become familiar with what we expect of you.

the monthly activity checks will go through here. everytime you see one, you should post. otherwise you will actually be sorted into the inactive member group and risk losing all your claims.

all pending applications should be submitted in this board. there is also a sub-board for accepted applications. don't post anywhere other than ooc (NOT EVEN CLAIMS) until you're accepted.

all the claims to get myspace, aim, and all that are within this board. claims for celebrity faces and such are also in here. make sure to claim since it's first come, first serve.

applications for people whom characters were deleted or where the unfinished applications are. just pm an admin if you want it pulled out.

this is where threads go after they have not been replied to for a while or else if they're finished. if you want a thread out; just pm an admin.

any questions you have about the forums or any problems or ideas you have should be submitted here. staff will look over your ideas or problems and either fix them or help you in some way.

the board where you can keep track of your characters, threads, plots, and etc.

student lockers are made here; you can leave notes for people in their lockers or just about anything else. but please make it realistic and believable. i don't think you can leave a bike in a locker..

after you post your cell phone claim, you may set up a cell phone here where all the other students may begin to leave you texts or voice messages.

this is where the relationship interactions go. post here to find your enemies, friends, and etc. but please be very detailed when it comes to histories. after all, it's hard to work off of short ones.

after you claim your sn, you may then send instant messages back and forth to your best friend. but make sure to either close it to someone or keep it open.

students can record their days within the student blogs that are made for them here. you have to apply for a blog first, then you can make different threads for each time you make a new blog in it.

sign up for a myspace and you'll have a board made just for you right here. from there you can put up seperate threads for friend requests, comments, about me's, etc.

the school newspaper is filled with a bunch of the newest gossip. no one knows who runs it. just that they're pretty brave for spreading the lies and (sometimes) truthful items in the paper. oddly enough, the students can't keep their hands off of it.

the students own dating service. of course none of the faculty knows about it. heck, no one but the students know about it and it's a nice new addition to the school. inside you will find more information on just how exactly it works.

all the classes in the lansing high school are located in here. it is mandatory that you attend classes and listen well. for if you don't you will actually fail classes and wind up having to take them over again. wouldn't want that, would we?

the halls of the high school. each usually contains a water fountain to get drinks from. and a bathroom. along with the doors leading to the many classes inside the school. it's usually occupied by some students and teachers during classes who are trying to run errands or even get by with skipping.

the cafeteria of the school. pretty much this is the gathering point of all the students. they all come here for their lunch periods and often eat in here. but there's some who just come in here to relax and that's all.

the student lounge is where students come when they want to sit back and relax for a short while. that or they're studying up. sometimes people skip to this room but it's not usual.

not a very popular spot for the students, but during halloween, it's made into a sort of 'haunted house' to earn money for charities. it's also said to be haunted and more than half the time is empty and quiet.

the rooftop of the school. usually it's littered with many cigarette butts or just about anything the kids could sneak up here to do. usually what the students do up here they couldn't get away with elsewhere. sometimes different art classes are held up here like photography, though. so it's not usually all bad. just be careful when coming up here.

the stairwell is yet another gathering point for students. many of them enjoy sitting on the steps during lunch and talking. or if they want to hide, they'll come to the stairwell and get access to another floor. either way, this is probably one of the more popular spots for the high school.

the garden was just newly put into the school. it's not very large due to the fact it was made on such short notice. but it's still beautiful, peaceful, and a big hang out spot for the students anyway.

the courtyard is the most popular spot in the school. it's usually crowded by all the different crowds and cliques of the school. it's right outside the entrance of the school also, which is always convenient.

this is where the various boards for the different sports fields are located. such as the football or track fields. and much, much more.

after claiming your dorm, it will be made here and then you may post in it. you must be a student of the high school in order to have a dorm. they are also co-ed and four to a room.

anybody who is not a student must live within the apartments or homes. the apartments are for the people with lower incomes or just want to start out living in a small space. because the apartments aren't really large at all. in fact, they're kind of cramped and at most can only live two people.

the homes are only for the characters that are not students at lansing high school. they're for the more well off people and certainly more spacious than the apartments. those who have to keep an eye on their budget generally don't bother trying to buy a house.

the library is the resource center if you ever have any kind of a report that you have to do. it's also useful if you want to waste some time and just read some stories. it's pretty large and a really nice place if you want to do any kind of research.

if you can't get home tonight why not stay at the hotel? there's many more reasons why you'd want to stay at a hotel, but one of the main ones deals with commute. sometimes you're just too tired to drive those extra ten miles through the city. and it is a nice hotel in the first place.

the pool is open all year around. that's merely because it's an inside pool. it's pretty large and usually around the year people hold parties here when there's a birthday or similar event.

the arcade is a gathering spot for the teens that enjoy games. they're not always the ones who are addicted to games, either. in fact, it's sometimes crowded with the more popular crowds since this place isn't a half bad area to really hang out at.

the skate park is the perfect spot for the skaters. they constantly hang out here and it's like a paradise to them. there's many different places to visit while here. during the winter, however, it's closed.

on a date and need to find a good place to go? the movie theater is somewhere you should definitely visit then. it has the latest flicks out to see.

the park is pretty large and located in the center of lansing, michigan. it has a playground located toward the east side and during winter, the pond on the west side of the park freezes over and it's safe to ice skate on.

the hospital is somewhere no one wants to be at. you come here for several reasons. either you're ill or else you're visiting someone. or you work here. but there's a bigger chance it's the other two scenarios.

the club was made when a young man who inherited millions of bucks opened up a small business that soon turned into a dance club for teens. it doesn't serve any kind of alcohol, but it serves imitation alcohol. no fake id needed.

the lansing zoo is a new addition to lansing, michigan. it was just put in a few years ago and already the number of animals they have is going up amazingly.

all the different shops are located within this board. most of the shops are the more popular ones such as hot topic, hollister, and etc.

the restaurant boards are located in this board. all of the more popular ones including mcdonalds and everything else. if the restuarant you want isn't located here, you can just post in the 'other restaurants' board.

any places that don't have a board made for them you may make here. if it's important you may pm an admin to make the place a board of its own.

you may post in here even if you're not accepted. within are the games and different things you can do to occupy your time. you may also make threads to chat with other members if you wish.
